Being Saturday, I slept in way too late. But not too late to miss my favorite weekend activity, the Durham Farmer's Market! I love to go people watch and support local
farmers and craft people. There is always someone playing music, DFM t-shirts for sale, and more local meats, veggies, flowers and baked goods than you could shake a stick at! It reminds me of the really wonderful things about the USA, the south and my community.
I normally buy a beautiful bouquet of flowers, but I arrived late and they
were all picked over. I did buy some fresh eggs from Little Tree Farm, ate some homemade goat cheese, and munched on a chocolate chip muffin!
