This is my old and dear friend Lowanna. She and I met in 1992 when we were both working at The Red Onion Cafe in Boone, NC while attending Appalachian State University. Back in the day, Lowanna swore to never get married and have kids :)
This weekend Simeon and I are traveling to Madison, WI to help her celebrate her marriage to Chip! Not only that, but she is now stepmom to his two young sons. She is as happy as I have ever known her to be, and I can't wait to be a part of this celebration...
